INTRODUCTION:
Any twenty-something will enthusiastically mention weekends when asked about their greatest treasures. Weekends are the best, without a doubt! Weekends are eagerly anticipated by all of us, whether we are introverts who prefer to stay home or extroverts who enjoy socializing with just about everyone. After all, they are the only two days of the week when we are free to ignore work-related emails and put our loved ones and ourselves first. It is during that enchanted time that we begin to believe that we were not created merely to labor, pay taxes, and then pass away from this world without having experienced anything. Whatever constitutes a good time in our eyes, the weekend is when we indulge in the things we cherish.
OVERVIEW:
On a Saturday, I wake up around noon and spend the rest of the day being even less productive. And if an unusual circumstance arises where I do feel like working, I might end up cooking. Since most of us who live away from home spend weekends avoiding social interaction, I know I am not alone in this. Even though I realize that my weekend routine is not as bad as it sounds, I should take advantage of my two days of freedom.Since we are all entitled to those holidays, I intend to celebrate my love of the mountains during those times rather than waiting for my leave application to be approved.
The trek to Bhrigu Lake has managed to fascinate me the most out of all the simple treks available in the lovely state of Himachal Pradesh. The reason is that this trek can be completed quickly, so one does not need to miss work or college. Additionally, it presents a chance to visit the captivating town of Manali. Continue reading to learn more about how this trek can give you a weekend high and motivate you to spend more time in nature.
The Glorious Himalayas
Our country has a wealth of scenic features thanks to nature. The majestic Himalayan peaks are among the best of all the natural wonders we can claim to have. You can never go wrong with Himachal Pradesh if you want to witness the magnificence of the Himalayas. Another thrilling way to take in the beauty of these majestic mountains is the trek to Bhrigu Lake. You never lose sight of the surrounding vistas on the shepherd trail that leads to the charming lake. Please let me know if you think of any other ways to make a weekend special besides treating your eyes to such breathtaking scenery.
The Magical Trail
I wholeheartedly concur with Steve Jobs’ statement that “the journey is the reward,” who was also a co-founder of Apple. The idea is proven to be particularly accurate when discussing the trek to Bhrigu Lake. The trail will take you through peaceful hamlets tucked away in the mountains, where you will get to experience various facets of Himachali lifestyle and culture. Even before you arrive at the idyllic lake, the lush greenery of magical forests, the sweet scent of apple orchards, and the cool mountain air will revive your senses.
The first day of trekking takes you through some of the most captivatingly beautiful sights a hilly region has to offer, such as green pastures and meandering rivulets, on a forest trail from Gulaba Village to Rola Kholi. The breathtaking views of the Kullu Valley are also assured in addition to these. You will arrive at your destination from Rola Kholi on the second day. If you’ve ever fantasized about walking on snowy paths, as I have, this journey will make you ecstatic! After a strenuous expedition, the unexpected appearance of Bhrigu Lake with its breathtaking beauty and surreal setting might astound you.
Your Joyous Wallet
Before we can start planning a vacation, the majority of us need to take several looks at our bank accounts. When you are a student or have modest savings, splurging on a weekend getaway is probably not the best course of action. As a result, the fact that the Bhrigu Lake trek won’t break the bank is one of its most amazing features. An easy way to travel from Delhi to the town of Manali is by bus. Being a very popular tourist destination, the area offers a wide variety of affordable lodging and dining options. A brief vacation in the Himalayas will cost you next to nothing, but the memories you create there will be priceless.
Good for Families
This trek is perfect if you have family-related weekend plans. This is an experience that can be shared with friends and family thanks to the well-maintained trail and the welcoming group of other hikers.
Incredible View of Bhrigu Lake
Bhrigu Lake is a sight to behold, set in the middle of a velvety patch of grass in the summer and frozen to blend in with its snowy surroundings in the winter. The lake is linked to an old legend and is nestled between two mountain ridges. Maharishi Bhrigu is said to have meditated by the lake in the past. The Rohtang Pass, a famous landmark, is about 25 km away from the lake. The view that opens up in front of the traveler after more than a day of hiking is simply breathtaking. If you’re fortunate enough to see something this amazing, the effort of the trip will seem to melt away.
A small bag of necessities and a bus ticket to Manali are all you need for a relaxing weekend away from the heat and bustle of your city. The idyllic surroundings of Bhrigu Lake will seem to beckon you once you arrive, and you won’t be able to resist.
